Sales policy:
The following is my sales policy. I do not amend it in any way. Purchase of one of my rabbits is an agreement to all terms and conditions below:
I do not sell rabbits under the age of 8 weeks. I sometimes have a short waiting list for certain color/gender combinations. You do not have to put down a deposit to be on the waiting list.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a rabbit once agreement to sell to you is made. Once a rabbit is on hold the buyer has 2 weeks to pick up the rabbit once it is of age unless other agreements are made, or the deposit will be forfeited. All deposits are made via cash or Pay Pal. (if paying with paypal add 3% for their fee.)
I reserve all rights to stop a sale and/or cancel at any time and for any reason. If "I"
cancel a sale, this is the ONLY time I will offer a refund for any payments that had been
made previously.
I do not guarantee any rabbit sold will win shows. If I sell a rabbit as show quality, I feel the rabbit has the potential to do well at shows and is free from Disqualifications for its breed at the time of sale, but I cannot guarantee it beyond that time. Any rabbit sold as a pet will not come with pedigree papers and will have a DQ (unshowable symbol) ear tattoo.
I DO NOT knowingly sell a sick animal. All rabbits sold are healthy to the best of my knowledge when they leave my rabbitry. Health cannot be guaranteed once a rabbit leaves our rabbitry and enters another habitat due to the nature of pathogen/virus transmissions. Your rabbit is guaranteed to be healthy at time of sale and is your responsibility to check over rabbit to be sure there are no problems at time of sale. I will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that have been purchased from me.
I do not ship, sorry. If you wish to arrange for some form of transport, that is OK, but that is 100% up to the buyer to arrange and pay their cost. I will deliver your rabbit to a show if I'm attending (rare).
Please be sure to bring a suitable carrier at time of pick-up. The rabbit(s) must be picked up within 2 weeks from the time they are ready to leave, unless arrangements have been made in advance.
If the rabbit(s) are not picked up in the scheduled time frame, the rabbit(s) will be put back up for sale and the deposit will be forfeited.
Rabbits are sold to children with parental permission. Parent assumes all legal responsibility for the rabbit(s) purchased for their children and must be present when rabbit is picked up.
You are fully responsible for checking the rabbit from head to toe at the time you pick up
the rabbit. If this is not done and later a problem is found, no replacements or refunds will be
made and the sale is final. If a disqualification is found at the time of pick up your deposit will
be refunded. If you do not know how to check a rabbit, ask me and I will help point out what you are looking for. Check for vent cleanliness, clear eyes, clean nose/ears, foot sores, DQs, etc.
Tattoo ear numbers are given to all sold stock, pet/brood/show, and should never be changed, they will retain the Outlandish Rabbitry prefix on their pedigree, pedigrees are not to be transferred to another rabbit or falsified in any way.
Once a rabbit is picked up by the new owner I am no longer responsible for the rabbit’s care. It is up to the new owner to provide correct care for the rabbit at their own expense and labor. I am not a veterinarian but I can make suggestions and you may contact me for help, or I can help find help if I don't know.
I operate a closed door rabbitry for bio security reasons. Only my closest friends come into my rabbitry, period. If I don't have what you're looking for I can put you in contact with others who may.
Thank you for reading and understanding, any questions please feel free to contact me using facebook or email.
