Here are a few photos of our wonderful rabbits. I'm not a great photographer but I do enjoy taking their pictures. I take great pride in my rabbits and also take LOTS of pictures!
The next gallery is bunch of group photos taken in the yard or the doe colony.
Ian's gallery. He is wooing Jenny in the first photo. My favorite is the one of his huge feet. I love big feet and ears on a rabbit!
Next up, Jenny's gallery. She is the best mother, always lets me handle the kits with no fuss, very calm and steady temperament. She retires at the end of this year and I'm keeping a kit from her recent litter to take her place breeding. jenny will stay here in retirement so long as her good health continues because she helps to care for the other does' kits.
Next up, Cloud and Nobunny. Cloud is the first three, the others are No. It's hard to tell who is who sometimes, but No is a little smaller than Cloud. Their baby pictures are the ones on the table.
Next up, Hippo! She got her name from being the biggest, fattest kit in her litter. She looked like a tiny black hippo as a hairless newborn and the name just stayed with her. It technically fits my Outlander theme for the Silver Foxes, since in "An Echo in the Bone" Diana write about how Claire counts off the time during Lizzie's labor saying: "One hippopotamus, two hippopotamus…"
Angora gallery! First up Diana, the lovely cream doe. Next is her sister Phaedre, who loves cuddles and kicking up her heels in the yard. Lastly, Viktor, my beautiful white buck. I knew he was a keeper from the day I brought them all home. He is a stand-in for the Easter Bunny :D
Next up, the Rex! Blueberry is up first, as you can see by the first few rows of photos she was like a concrete brick when she got here. Living colony style she has trimmed down to a much healthier weight, but she has some skin folds where the chunk once was. She isn't the most social of rabbits but I do so love her shining blue beauty.
Second is Fergus, my blue/fawn tricolor buck. I adore him and he loves attention and treats.
After that is Jamie, the castor buck. As you can see in his first photo with his brothers, he wasn't exactly thrilled with the car ride, he hid his head in the box for the first hour after arriving. He has settled in nicely now, adjusted to the new diet just fine and begs for treats like the rest of the rabbits here!

And the grand finale, the gallery of baby bunnies to overload you with their cuteness!
