Welcome to the Outlandish Rabbitry website. You may see information about our rabbits and their purpose, as well as listings of babies currently available and a photo gallery of litters past. I do not show (yet) but I prefer to use show quality animals in my program for others who do, in case they may wish to buy from my breeding. You will find that I am very passionate about my rabbits and their care. We do things a little unconventionally (even Outlandish, perhaps?) around here, so be forewarned! Our breeding season runs from September to June. All litters born here are raised in a colony setting and all of our rabbits are fed a natural diet of grasses and hay, foraged plants, and garden grown fodder. This diet is supplemented with natural mineral licks and grain mixed with black oil sunflower seeds. I provide toys and other enrichment objects for all my rabbits. My bucks get to graze in pens and my does get time in the yard daily as weather permits, and kits are handled, loved, and cared for from the moment they are born. Most of our rabbits have literary names and my rabbitry name stems from my favorite book series written by Diana Gabaldon, the Outlander series. We are a small rabbitry located in beautiful Bellbrook, Ohio - just a few minutes Southeast of Dayton - and my furry herd is guarded by our dog Peppers who makes an occasional appearance in their photos. I hope you enjoy your visit to our site! You can "Like" our Outlandish Rabbitry page on facebook for the latest information, updates, and photos of our rabbits.
